Prepare for your Charter

We can provide everything you need on your trip, including high-quality fishing tackle and even a catered box lunch or dinner.

Tackle:
We will provide all equipment, bait and high-quality fishing tackle, including spinning and casting rods from St. Croix and Shimano and fly rods from Temple Forks Outfitters, but you are welcome to bring your own favorite rod.

Clothing:
Please dress for comfort in the outdoors. There is no shelter from the elements on the boat. Remember that it is often significantly cooler on the water than it is on land. Dress in layers to allow for changing conditions. Rain gear is recommended, as it provides protection from the wind and spray as well as the unexpected rainshower. Please don’t forget to apply sunscreen before you go out, and bring some along to reapply as needed. Please do not use spray sunscreen as it stains the fiberglass of the boat. A hat and sunglasses offer protection from the sun, and make it easier to locate fish. For your safety aboard, please wear only non-marking, soft-soled shoes.

Food and Drink:
Bottled water will be provided. In addition, you may choose to bring your own food and drinks. A cooler and ice will be provided to keep them cold on the boat.Although we encourage catch-and-release, we have absolutely no objection to keeping a few fish for the table, and we will provide a cooler and ice on board to keep them in top condition. If you are hoping to bring fish home, you should have a cooler in your vehicle to keep them fresh.
